Supplying bentonite to buyers across the Gulf, Europe and Asia since 1994. Amrfeo, an Indian bentonite manufacturer, has supplied buyers in Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, China, South Korea, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India. We mine and process our own bentonite at Bhuj, Kutch. Our supplies have ranged from piling and microtunnelling slurry to iron-ore pellet binder, foundry bentonite and drilling foam.

Sri Lanka
Amrfeo has supplied Pileman® BH to piling contractors in Sri Lanka working on coastal sites, where the ground water near the sea is brackish. Hydrated in fresh water first, it keeps the slurry stable.
Shipping: by container from Mundra or Kandla to Colombo, typically 7–10 days.
India
In India, Amrfeo has supplied bentonite and polymer for microtunnelling. On city sewer projects, Pileman® BH was used where the seeping ground water carried chloride, sulphate and carbonate salts. On a drainage project, Pileman® BH made the face slurry and Easy-Bore™ filled the annular gap around the pipes.
China
Amrfeo supplied Pellet-Maker™ bentonite binder to an iron-ore pellet plant in China under a two-year contract.
South Korea
Amrfeo supplied Varan®, its foundry bentonite, for green sand to buyers in South Korea.
Singapore
Foam-Drill™ has been supplied to an air-drilling contractor in Singapore (see drilling foam).

For Asia, bentonite goes in 25 kg bags or 1,300 kg jumbo bags from Mundra or Kandla, and Foam-Drill™ in 210 L barrels from Mundra. See packing options for container loads.

Pileman®, at 50 kg per m³ of fresh water. On coastal sites where brackish water may get in, use Pileman® BH, hydrated in fresh water first.
Is Pileman® BH a saltwater bentonite?
When hydrated in fresh water, Pileman® BH can maintain stability up to 30% sea water incursion.
How long does shipping to Sri Lanka take?

Yes. Pellet-Maker™ is our iron-ore pellet binder, at 1.2% by weight of pellet feed. Varan® is our sodium-activated bentonite for green sand moulding.
