The Gulf
Supplying bentonite to buyers across the Gulf, Europe and Asia since 1994. Amrfeo, an Indian bentonite manufacturer, has supplied buyers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait. We mine and process our own bentonite at Bhuj, Kutch. Gulf supplies have included slurry for a dam cut-off wall in Oman and HDD drilling mud in Saudi Arabia.

Amrfeo supplied Pileman® bentonite for the slurry on a cut-off wall of about 30,500 m² at a flood-protection dam in Oman. The trench was dug mainly with a trench cutter. The Pileman® slurry held the trench open and carried the spoil to the recycling plant.

Saudi Arabia: bentonite (بنتونيت) for HDD
Amrfeo supplied Pileman® BH bentonite and Easy-Bore™ PHPA gel for horizontal directional drilling (HDD) on a desert site in Saudi Arabia. The contractor reported lower friction and higher production.

Packing and shipping
For the Gulf, bentonite goes in 25 kg bags or 1,300 kg jumbo bags from Mundra or Kandla, and Easy-Bore™ in 25 kg pails from Mundra. Container loads are on packing options.

Which bentonite works with brackish or salt water?
Pileman® BH, up to 16,000 ppm. With soda ash pre-mixed into the water, it mixes straight into brackish or salt water up to 5,000 ppm. Hydrated in fresh water first, it drills in up to 16,000 ppm. Above that, send us your water analysis.
Is Pileman® BH a saltwater bentonite?
When hydrated in fresh water, Pileman® BH can maintain stability up to 30% sea water incursion.
Is soda ash already in the Pileman® BH bag?
No. Pre-mix soda ash (light) into your make-up water yourself, then add Pileman® BH.
How long does shipping to the Gulf take?
Typically 14–21 days by container from Mundra or Kandla: to Dammam or Jeddah for Saudi Arabia, and to Salalah or Duqm for Oman. Easy-Bore™, AM-PAC™ and Foam-Drill™ ship from Mundra.
How is bentonite packed for export to the Gulf?
In 25 kg bags (26.4 t net per 20-foot container) or 1,300 kg jumbo bags (26 t net per container). The containers leave from Mundra or Kandla.
What is the price of bentonite in the Gulf?
