Product Description
Pileman® – BH is a custom-made sea water Bentonite support system which adapts to drilling in extreme formations soaked with sea water or any carbonate hardness for drilling in brine water. Its formulation comprises with the enhancement of basic bentonite clay in India to adapt select polymer and additives depending upon usage.
Drilling in Brine and Hard Conditions
No matter how effective a slurry may be, when exposed to ground with extreme levels of chlorides, sulphites, or carbonates, it will quickly react with these ions, leading to flocculation or sedimentation. This results in the formation of a non-impermeable filter cake, compromising the very process of drilling. Pileman ® BH is specifically engineered to prevent such issues, ensuring optimal performance even in challenging drilling conditions.
